Our Mission...
To raise funds for children with medical issues who's families may not be able to afford the necessary treatment. We do this through a combination of an annual fundraiser where all of our friends help us put on a fantastic blues concert, as well as the links (that we hope to have up soon) on our website. (check back often!) We have many friends in the musical community who have expressed an interest in being a part of something that gives back. We are blessed that these fine musicians want to help us in our quest to be of service to others. Our secondary mission is to promote the Blues as one of America's varied and storied art forms, as well as make the world a better place, and bring peace and harmony into people's lives.

We are currently working on booking the band in clubs, concert venues, and festivals for 2009. Check the Calendar page often for updates!
Outside of that, the duo of Geoff Meyer and Jon Sterling that drives the vision of Blooz Dogz also have another duo and band project called Sterling Meyer that they have been working and gigging with since 2003. We are currently in the studio working on our latest Demo for the Duo. You can hear a montage of selections from this on our Discography page
KEYSTONE BLUES & BBQ WINTER FESTIVAL Saturday March 28th
20 Degrees Out, but the Band was Burnin'! What we are most excited about is that we were able to make our very first donation of $75.00 from proceeds of sales of CD's from this show! We chose Children's Hospital as our first recepient. Geoff has a story to tell about his own son Danny (who is a Blooz Dog himself) and Children's Hospital that started this whole ball rolling. Ask him to tell it to you next time you see him!

Our First Official Annual Fundraiser!
March 4th, 2010 at The Walnut Room. The incomparable Coco Brown will be opening the show with some silky R&B arrangements of tunes you know and love, backed by selected members of Blooz Dogz and other fine musicians. And Blooz Dogz will put on their usual stunning show, and we'll of course have some new tricks in the bag as always. Come out and see what we've been cookin' up!
In addition to this being our first Fund Raiser we will also be releasing our newest CD - "(currently untitled)". This CD has the best of the best from our 2009 Concert Season, and of course our first CD "Live - At The Crossroads" will also be available, along with other fun "Blooz Dogz" merchandise. Come out and listen, dance, drink, eat and have a GREAT time! $10.00 get's you in and you are encouraged to purchase you tickets in advance at www.thewalnutroom.com. Proceeds from sales of albums and merchandise will go to a local charity geared towards helping children in need. We are currently in the process of reviewing our options. If you have one in mind that you think could benefit, please let us know!
